Sculptures and Paintings

THE ART STUDENTS OF BEAUDESERT SHS TO USE THE PUB ROOM ON FRI FROM 9:30 - 2:30. THEIR WILL BE SCULPTURES BEING MADE FROM RECYCLED CARDBOARD AND CITYSCAPE PAINTING DONE BY OUR YR 10′S ON LARGE CANVASES.

Sponsors

- Beaudesert RSL have come on board as a school sponsor will be providing awards and prizes for school projects.

-  Mission Australia supplying bags in conjunction with Beaudesert Rotary for students to create and environmental decorated resource bag.

Schools

Schools are invited to present projects on environmental issues these can be on the subjects that they are studying under there current Curriculum or can be focused on sustainability using the theme rethink your daily actions and reduce, re-use, recycle. Art projects can ba frogs (international year of the frog 2008) or trees for survival.these can be brought to the showgrounds and displayed on Thursday the 22nd of may from 8.30 am until 6.30 pm and picked up at the completion of expo after 4 pm Saturday the 24th or on Monday, times to be arranged. all care and no responsibility will be taken for projects.

Mission Australia and Beaudesert Rotary are supplying brown paper bags to enable schools to do an art project on one side, drawing or painting and on the other side eco expo 2008 sponsored by mission Australia and Beaudesert rotary club school name class and artist initial. schools are to contact Keith Reinke 0755410580 or email randmore@hotkey.net.au asap with the quantity needed for the student, these bags will be supplied to the schools week ending Friday the 18th 2008. and will be picked up early may to be distributed at eco expo with other handouts on the 23rd of may Schools are asked to supply a contact person and supply with approximate numbers and arrival times at eco expo asap. programs will be available on the Internet under the event section.

asking schools to prepare Cd’s on environmental projects to be taken by the school these must be in  the hands of rotary Beaudesert rotary club by the 8th of may to be put onto a larger continuous disk for display on large screens at eco expo for more info contact keith reinke. bus parking areas are available all students are asked to enter by the main gate shaded seating areas will be provided drinks and food will be available. Both canteen approved products in general or bring your own lunch.

Gold Coin Entry schools can pay in a sum of money saving the kids from Queuing to enter the eco expo.
